Where does the dew really belong?
To the earth where it comes to in the early hours of the morning?
On the spread of grass that its gentle wash mantles? On the faces of leaves that star-sparkle its presence at sunrise?
Or to the skies where it came from and to where it now ascends again.
The dew does not belong to earth or sky. It belongs to itself.
And by being what it is, wherever it is, its essence is comfortably expressed in appropriate existence.
Where do we really belong?
To heaven, the world beyond we are destined to or the earth where we find ourselves in now and live in?
For now we belong here as the dew also does. We belong to ourselves and we must live the glory that each one of us is. And the more glorious and wholesome we live our lives, the more glorious will our destiny be.
