There is no tragedy,

only the inevitable.

Everything has its reason for being.

All you have to learn is

how to distinguish

what will pass

and what will last.

Paulo Coelho

The Fifth Mountain

And one carries on from there.

The good news is that all “tragedies” pass.

They will be replaced by fresh challenges and seeming “tragedies” as the years roll along. But these too will pass.

What will last is the person that you are, more enriched and stronger because of what you have passed through.

Your most recent “tragedy” might still be with you but if it was inevitable, then it just had to come.

If it isn’t with you then you will know that it too has passed and you carry on with your life,

stronger for having braved that particular inevitable tragedy.

Any time is a good time for re-assessing tragedies and failings and limitations and putting them where they belong –

to history.

And the sooner we let go of that history, the better for us.

Letting go is one thing. Reaching out and holding on to is another.

We reach out and hold on to the hand of God who calls out to us: “Come back to me with all your heart….”

Blessings to you that you may respond to His call.

All well and in place for me. Kind of… with things roller-coasting along and the big mad rush for testing and counselling taking up most of my time and energy.

That is also an inevitable – though not a tragedy – and it too will pass.

Life goes on with new happenings coming in and passing out… and me growing up through it all…

Take care and stay well.

Love, Terry
