Thanks for your mail and good wishes…
People sometimes do forget so please do not feel bad about it : My birthday came and went on 25th July as always!!!
I had a relatively peaceful birthday with a scattering of visits and calls (because the college is in exams just now) and lots of mails. Assorted goodies were also brought in and some of it was happily shared with those who came in to wish me.
Quite a bit was safely kept in the fridge and is gradually being consumed and shared delightfully!
Some birthday reflections as through lights and shadows I am guided along the corridor years of my living.

The corridor continues slow
each passing year unrolls anew
each footstep taken firmly treads
the dreams and hopes of promise made
and kept through gifts that life bestows
Backlit lustre grow-up times
Rough and smooth through glowing gains
Swift run and falter tumble ways
All part of courses living makes
old lights I leave new brights ahead
through placid distance flower spread
expanse unrushed slow gentle wave
soft colour dance in morning breeze
I saunter on assuredly
more grace beyond the mists for me.

There is always that – the “more” grace beyond the mists.
There is grace before and within the mists as well… but even more awaits beyond.
So I can walk on light-footedly bright-heartily with faith and hope!
