Alan.fly, Carl, lexley, sophiaJ,
My dear
In case you finally did see “PEACE” in that last mail of mine, great!
In case you did not, my apologies for not telling you how to look for it. Just as “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”, so is PEACE.
If it resides within you then you will easily see it in leaves and flowers and nature and most especially in people. You were kind of right when you said that it could possibly only be seen by the pure of heart!
I may have already told you about these occasional little notes I get from God. Here’s another one I received quite a while back.

Which of us has not stopped by a spider’s web and marvelled at the way in which such a tiny creature has woven something so exquisitely beautiful?
And sometimes, if we are lucky enough we might even chance upon a web that becomes still more beautiful because of the play of beads of moisture from dew or rain that have been caught up in the silken strands…
The invitation to become more beautiful, to do things even more beautifully is always there for each of us.
And there is a glowing thrill for us when we accept the invitation and respond positively…
I think this becomes easier as we grow older. We have been through and come through a whole lot of celebrations and crises that will surely have made us realize that it is not wise to be ugly. Sheer waste of time… and we are the ones that end up being miserable. It is easier and more sensible for us to invest in becoming beautiful. And it becomes a blessing for others too: family and friends and whoever else.
Blessings on this happening to you!
Take care. Love, Terry
