Music in the attachment.
My dear
I celebrated my 72nd birthday on the 25th. You cannot imagine how wonderful it is to be 72 and moving on to my eightees! Thanks for your mail and birthday wishes. Blessings and prayers for you for supertimes through your own challenges of growing up gracefully.
I had a peacefully wonderful time crowded with well-wishing visitors and calls and happy related things. No big dinner outing and I was glad about that too!
Here’s something more about my growing older and growing up! I wrote it about fifteen years ago but the sentiments now are much the same… expressive of how I am and feel just now…
The visuals are from some of my SSL Team Building camp with college students at our Xavier’s Khandala villa.

The pace is slightly slower now
Though distances unchanged
I march to mellow beating drums
To some, I’m out of range.
I whisper walk through gentle showers,
hear leaves rustle, smell the flowers
clocks no longer rush my hours
schedules new arranged.
Ahead I see in distance mist
a quick paced younger crowd
their colours seem much wilder now
their music much too loud
To them I seem a bit behind
and out of place, I do not mind
my drum beats are another kind
I march with heart unbowed
Through disappearing mists I walk
I look around and see
Beam dance of sun on breeze tossed leaves
Flit birds on branch of trees
By monsoon moist I am embraced
The here-and-now my drums have paced
My life and living present-faced
Years pass on gracefully!

And with the passing of years, fresh happynings….new pictures… more stories to regale my life with and I continue looking forward…
True, the pace is slightly slower now but there is enough to do nevertheless. I cannot remember when I was last bored or anything like that!
Things relatively quiet and peaceful with me just now. Around the college Malhar rumblings increase in frenzied activity and decibel levels. The rains come and go playfully and the hot-stuffy/wet-cool rhythms of this season are adjusted to as happens every year.
Xavier’s carries on being a way of life…
Take care .
Love you, Terry
