My dear
Thought you might like to see a picture of my room here. It looks bigger and broader that it actually is because of the wide-angle use of the camera lens.
Most of the woodwork (floor, ceiling, furniture) is heritage Burma teakwood… and has a comfortable antique stately charm of its own.
I do not spend much time here (mostly only nights for sleeping) as I am in the counselling centre the whole day.
And cleaning this room (which I do myself) is quite a pain in the arms!
But it is “home” to me and I look forward to going there at the end of the day and doing my own things in the quiet and peace of the night-time hours.
The heat continues unabated and the days pass by swiftly. Soon it will be June and other college things will happen.
Like college beginning again and new things happening here and yes, the rains!! Especially the rains!
I so look forward to the first rains and thundershowers… but I have told you all about this already.
More celebration times for you – even if it isn’t your birthday or anniversary.
