When untouched by human hands, nature has such a graceful and beautiful way of making its passage from vibrancy and life and splendour to gentle surrender into decay destiny.
Fallen flower and leaves… picture perfect as they wait the final journey.
We grow old too…. and we must remain graceful right through that final passage to worlds beyond.
Nothing needs be lost as we grow older. History keeps for us and with us the vibrancy and splendour of earlier times.
And therein is the secret. The older we grow the more we become of what we already are! Like they say, “the child is father of the man”!
Not that we are condemned or doomed to this if things are not right with us just now. Transformation to something more beautiful is a miracle that we can make happen. And a brand new way of “growing older” gracefully can begin.
All else continues well as I make my own adjustments to the rising temperatures and other circumstance affected inconveniences. I have recently been making varying concoctions of flavoured ice-cold milk-shakes and coffee delights. Much appreciated by those who drop in at the right time! Now and then I add in strange ingredients but for the sake of discretion I do not make announcements about this. It is amusing to see the eye-widening looks on the faces of those sipping these concoctions. Drop in, and if your timing is right and you will share the experience!
Take care. Stay well.
Love, Terry
