Much of our behaviour is effected by the way we see things. The way we perceive them determines the way we act on them.

Contrary to popular belief and expression, the sun never rises or sets. It just stays put! It is the earth that does all the moving. For its own sake, of course.

Without the earth, the sun will still exist. Without the sun, all life on earth will die. So the earth needs to spin around in order to keep everything on it alive and thriving.

Lesson for us!

We need to spin around too, so that the sunrises in our own lives happen. Small spins, big spins…. middle sort-of spins……but spin we must…..

Learning and education are spins. So is reaching out and connecting with people. Developing talents, honing our skills, trying out new things, taking risks, pushing boundaries, optimising our functioning whenever opportunities come our way…. all these initiatives are spins too. And the sunrise sunshine effect on our spin lives will show in the more beautiful that our lives will turn out to be.

There is much cause for joy and celebration when our whole hearted efforts meet often available opportunities. The sun is an opportunity. The spin is an effort. And a more vibrant living is the celebration.

More spinning to you… and lots of spectacular sunrises as a result of that!

All otherwise well and going good. Health is moving back into place after a rough long season and I continue getting the hang of adjusting to the new excitements that keep coming into my life…

Next week is the frenzied Malhar festival here. As always I shall keep a low profile as I weave my way in and through the general excitement and confusion. I will also enjoy the many days break that come with the festival.

Take care. More spectacular sunrises and lots of love to you, Terry
