My dear
Another Sunday. The weather has warmed up a bit but the time passes by comfortably though hectically… kind of summed it up in the picture and poem below.
Please note: the picture of the desk is not posed or planted … I just noticed it that way and clicked the picture. The desk is all neat and better arranged just now.
Lazy morning clutter
upon my Sunday desk
Late last night leftovers
In set unpicturesque
Sunlight pattern beams reflect
The way things should not be
Break day now I have the time
To put things right for me
I while away with many do’s
On other days denied
Like mails and rest and garden time
I’m unrushed occupied
It’s break day for the spirit too
I stop and breathe renewed
from daily rush of daily musts
a pleasant interlude
The morrow is another day
Surprise – there will be some
But all, I know, will fall in place
The best is yet to come….
terryq: feb.2012
This “best is yet to come…” is an attitude I have been having towards life in general for quite a while now. Doesn’t work all the time and it takes a lot of faith to see “best” when you get kicked in the face by things you do not have control over. But I do what I can to deal with it and carry on. It’s less burdensome that way… and other good things come around to lighten up the chance disappointment.
And, as I often say, life goes on…
All well otherwise… ups and downs in health, in work, in personal things etc.
I adjust merrily as I go along… no complaints.
Take care, stay well.
Love, Terry
