Thought I would also celebrate something special with you. World Environment Day was on 5th June.
Maybe you knew about it… and you did your bit for the environment.
I know I am a few days late but caring for the environment is more about a special attitude than about a special date!
So this mail should be appropriate and timely even now.
That’s a collage of my backyard garden. Looks a little more green crowded than it actually is but there is a lot of green there. And an occasional flower and a spider’s web and other soothing environment things.
A little bit above the centre in the background on the right is a bit of broken furniture clutter… a reminder that sometimes we make our own offensive contributions to the environment.
Not so good this… and we must do what we can to preserve the green and make nature even more beautiful.
The environment is on our side… unless, of course, we wage against it.
If ever you come by this side come and take a walk in the garden.
The plants there would love to meet you again and tell you how much you matter.
College reopened recently and it is good to be back to the usual things again. New admissions are hesitantly tip-toeing in and Malhar noises are rising in decibel levels.
Xavier’s continues being a way of life.
Meanwhile the rains are pouring down merrily… and since I do not have to commute to and fro, I simply love it!
