My dear

Sunday break again… happy pouring rainy day…and I have so much to catch up on…

For visual effect and aesthetic diversion, here is one of my charcoal works entitled “Nemo and his sisters”.

Charcoal on rough paper… I did this in 30 seconds.

You can see Nemo (a fish immortalized in the movie “Finding Nemo”) zip-swimming along towards the right while his two sisters camouflaged inside him move along with him. Each of the sisters is handicapped differently so it may take a while for you to spot them.

Maybe there is a metaphor about life in that charcoal drawing!

I have a few more charcoal works … maybe I will mail them to you some other time with a suitable story.

College has re-opened. While the old students have started classes and begun getting their academic concerns off the ground, the new hopefuls (parents as well as children) worry-flurry around wondering about cut-offs and quotas and combinations and whether they will get admission here or not.

I do what I can to comfort and counsel them about possibilities and alternatives.

The rains have come YYYYAAAAYYYYYYYYY !

I love the sounds/smell of the rain and the bright clean-green vibrant glow in my garden. Safe indoors for the most part, I say a prayer regularly for all those who have to squish-squash through pot-holes, wet mud and crowded trains in their daily commute.

Testing has reduced considerably but other college things mount up. Busy times never ever really stop!

Take care. Stay well and happy exciting monsoon times to you!

Love, Terry
