My dear
I just returned on Saturday from my 8-day annual retreat. It was lovely being away from it all… silence…peace and quiet and prayer…re-connecting with God who never ever disconnects from me…
I also managed to do a daily one-hour round of brisk walking and minor exercising. I re-discovered muscles that had not been in use since my last rural camp in November 2014!
Re-connecting with God is about saying something like this to him…
In the busy buzz-around rush of life I often forget… and a retreat is a good time to get back on track and be aware again of how much He is in the here-and-now of my life.
I am back in Xavier’s now… exams coming up for the students… preparations going on for our annual SSL rural camp end October… other here-and-there things…
Yes, it is good to be back… and life goes on
