Thanks for your mail and all the wonderful blessings and wishes you sent my way.<\/p>\n
With these I find myself better equipped to walk ahead towards my next jubilee in 2023!!<\/p>\n
Sorry for the uncharacteristic delay in replying to your mail. Many mails were pouring in and some of the jubilee celebrations were not complete.<\/p>\n
That happened yesterday with a family gathering at Xavier\u2019s and a thanksgiving prayer, festive ceremony and lunch for the family with the father\u2019s of the college community. One of the fathers here together with some family members secretly prepared a video on me that really rocked!! Photographs from the past, video-taped wishes and other embarrassing things. I was really moved.<\/p>\n
I suppose on jubilees and funerals it is legitimate to say wonderful things about people. One should do this at other times as well.<\/p>\n
There will be another all-Jesuit celebration in December but that is a long way off.<\/p>\n
Now that the celebration dust has settled, I am getting down to answer all those beautiful and caring mails I received.<\/p>\n

With so many people\u00a0aware of the less travelled road and\u00a0eager to adventure on it,<\/p>\n
I think that this particular road is gradually turning out to be the more travelled road…<\/p>\n
and the old more travelled road will soon become the less travelled road…<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Deciding which road to finally take gets pretty complicated because of this.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Life has its cycles… much like fashion, I guess… and one must make choices about what to wear and where to go.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Over the years, with my apologies to Frost and others like him, I have noticed that I\u00a0am one of those who prefer to take the more travelled road…<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is time tested and safer for sure. That might make it a bit routine and boring.<\/p>\n
However, with all the travels on this road that I have been doing over the years, I do not find it boring at all.<\/p>\n
I look for and keep discovering lots of new and wonderful\u00a0and exciting things as I wander my way along it….<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
No monotony or routine in my counselling and my SSL and other interesting activities I am involved in here!\u00a0<\/p>\n
No monotony in all\u00a0the relationships I have with the nicest people in the world…<\/p>\n
And more excitement in all the new people and new things coming my way as this road unravels ahead of me.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I am sure this will continue for many more years.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Of course, now and then, when suitably motivated and inspired, I shall take a walk on the supposedly less travelled road.<\/p>\n
And I shall also enjoy the excitement and adventure that it will add to my life!<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Some days I meet up with you again on your own more or less travelled\u00a0road…and it is nice to walk some of the way with you.<\/p>\n
You show me new things and help me\u00a0enjoy them.<\/p>\n
I show you the unnoticed in\u00a0old things, perhaps, and\u00a0some new learning happens for both of us.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
And then we wander off again on our own separate roads…until another possible meeting-up…<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
We have already been doing that occasionally… and I quite enjoy the happy wanderings with you… look forward to them too!<\/p>\n
