It isn\u2019t!<\/p>\n

There is another story about what happened at the manger that wonderful day\u2026<\/p>\n
The second king, Gaspar, seems to have misunderstood the gift of frankincense and makes a present of Frankenstein\u00a0 to Jesus.<\/p>\n
Melchior (who brings the gold) and Balthazar (who brings myrrh) are shocked.<\/p>\n
Mary and Joseph are puzzled. The ass and the sheep are nervously scared.<\/p>\n
And the little chicken flees for her life.<\/p>\n
Look closely at the faces of Gaspar and Jesus.<\/p>\n
Gaspar is smiling happily because he is sure he has done the right thing.<\/p>\n
Little Jesus sees the goodness in Gaspar\u2019s simple but beautiful heart, and he chuckles delightedly too.<\/p>\n
Frankenstein is\u00a0 smiling happily as well but you cannot see his face.<\/p>\n
The world does not like to look at ugly faces even if they have a smile on them.<\/p>\n
It is Gaspar\u2019s love and concern for Frankenstein that prompts him to brings him to Jesus.<\/p>\n
Jesus sees this in Gaspar\u2019s heart.<\/p>\n
Frankenstein is not the monster the world makes him out to be.<\/p>\n
Things went wrong for him and this is the way he turned out.<\/p>\n
He seems ugly on the outside but there is beautiful inside of him.<\/p>\n
Gaspar sees this. Jesus also sees this.<\/p>\n
Jesus is happy with Gaspar\u2019s gift because he sees in Frankenstein the many people things have gone wrong for.<\/p>\n
He sees everyone that the world rejects and considers ugly.<\/p>\n
He has come for these people too…especially for these people \u2013<\/p>\n
the poor, the downtrodden and the trampled upon, the discarded, the despised and the ugly.<\/p>\n
He will help them see themselves as beautiful. He will help others see them as beautiful as well.<\/p>\n
Because of Jesus\u2019 example and teaching, many will reach out in caring and love to the Frankensteins of this world.<\/p>\n
We can join Jesus in doing this.<\/p>\n
And Jesus will smile delightedly at us too, because we will be continuing and multiplying the goodness\/Godness he brought into the world.<\/p>\n
And the angels in heaven will sing out even more joyfully:<\/p>\n
Glory to God in the highest<\/strong><\/p>\n And peace on earth <\/strong><\/p>\n to people of good will…!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cPeople of good will\u2026\u201d\u00a0 hey, you can be one of these too!<\/p>\n Take care.
