Some random thoughts\u2026.<\/p>\n
Tinted glasses, they say, make you see the world differently. Quite often this is meant pejoratively (negatively, just in case!).<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t see the world through tinted glasses\u201d, they tell us.<\/p>\n
\u201cTake off your tinted glasses and see things the way they really are\u201d, we are advised.<\/p>\n
And we continue wondering why there is no change when we follow the suggestion, remove our tinted glasses and take another look at people and things around us.<\/p>\n
I do not think glasses, tinted or otherwise, are the issue. It\u2019s the eyes behind them that matter! And if the eyes are clear and focused, then whether the glasses are tinted or not, everything is beautiful to us. Or not so beautiful\u2026 depending!<\/p>\n
If you look at the following pictures you will see what I mean \u2013 un-tintedly!!<\/p>\n

Colourfully tinted\u00a0 or not, beautiful or not \u2026.depends largely on us.<\/p>\n
And it is nice to know that there is a whole lot of beautiful in black-and-white as well.<\/p>\n
Get the picture?<\/p>\n
Sometimes the world might also look at us through proverbial tinted glasses! We might come across to others in uncomplimentary, unflattering ways. We might be misunderstood or misjudged and there might be very little that we can do about that.<\/p>\n
It is not easy to change someone\u2019s prejudiced judgement about us\u2026 and I consider it a waste of time trying to do that!<\/p>\n
Of course one would be affected adversely by prejudices and wrong judgements, but it would be best to shrug one\u2019s shoulders and carry on living our lives the way one best wants to live it.<\/p>\n
Now and then too, the tinted glasses of others make us look better than we ourselves think we are!<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t fight it! You really are gorgeous and wonderful and \u2026when people see that in you it is nice to lift up your head humbly and accept it!!<\/p>\n

I have tried these things out and it works. Not without some amount of discomfort and unease, though, but that is bearable.<\/p>\n
And life goes on comfortably\u2026.<\/p>\n
