An update on terry news so that you will continue remembering me!<\/p>\n

I returned on the 12th from yet another SSL manual work rural camp (my 35th<\/sup> perhaps).<\/p>\n

I can still do it\u2026 but there is a definite slowing down in stamina and related body things. The campers caringly understood and did not allow me to work despite my protests. I hovered around restlessly, taking pictures and making suggestions when I saw them doing things differently. My talent for naturally showing off took quite a beating and most of the time I retreated quietly into the shadows wondering\u2026\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The camp overall was really awesome. Excellent group of students who were raring to go and enthusiastic about learning as much as there was to learn. And there was such a variety of experiences: the actual manual work, interaction with the village people and children (games with them), an exciting trek with one of the villagers guiding us, a fun-fair mela\u00a0 for about 55 children of the boarding, a wild sports session for the campers themselves\u2026 and so much more. And through it all the bonding and caring\/sharing and building up of friendships that will go way beyond the 11 days we were together.<\/p>\n

I was there with them hovering around caringly doing my bit.<\/p>\n

YYYYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYY for rural camp 2016!<\/p>\n

I am home now\u2026 recovering and putting the pieces back together. Fortunately there was a two day break before we resumed college\u2026 and now other busy time things keep happening. I brought back eight sacks of soil from the campsite so there will also be garden happenings to look forward to\u2026<\/p>\n
