There is such a thing as unbearable\u00a0pain.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 A three-way IV canal embedded in the back of\u00a0any hand<\/p>\n<p>limits the dexterity and movement of\u00a0that particular hand.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 You cannot tie your pyjama string with only one hand.<\/p>\n<p>4. In toilet manoeuvres\u00a0your right hand cannot efficiently do<\/p>\n<p>what\u00a0 your left hand has been doing all your life.<\/p>\n<p>5. A poster on the hospital wall said : &#8220;My grace is sufficient for you!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That helped!<\/p>\n<p>6. Even though it is good for health, karela is always bitter.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em> <img class=\"wp-image-1875\" src=\"https:\/\/ultrazaps.com\/terryblogg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/cid02c001caa7c0dollar7157cf60dollar0201a8c0xaviers.jpeg\" alt=\"cid:02c001caa7c0$7157cf60$0201a8c0@xaviers\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7. There are 18,964 drops in an IV bottle.<\/p>\n<p>8. Saying &#8220;Go! Baby go!&#8221;\u00a0 does not make\u00a0 the IV drip go any faster.<\/p>\n<p>9. Despite their colouring \u00a0IV drips do not come in flavours like pineapple and tender coconut.<\/p>\n<p>10. By the time one bottle of IV saline gets completely dripped into you,<\/p>\n<p>you have gone to the loo at least three times.<\/p>\n<p>11. The nurses are not amused if you ask them to connect the IV drip directly to the toilet bowl.<\/p>\n<p>12. If the position of your heart (e.g. when you are standing) is higher than<\/p>\n<p>the position of the IV bottle then blood flows in reverse from your body into the IV tube.<\/p>\n<p>That is very scary!<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 <\/em> <img class=\"wp-image-1876\" src=\"https:\/\/ultrazaps.com\/terryblogg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/cid02c101caa7c0dollar7157cf60dollar0201a8c0xaviers.jpeg\" alt=\"cid:02c101caa7c0$7157cf60$0201a8c0@xaviers\" \/><\/p>\n<p>13. In hospitals, 5.30 am is the most appropriate time to be changing the bed linen.<\/p>\n<p>You are generally woken up from a deep sleep so that this can be done.<\/p>\n<p>14. Hospital staff find it particularly difficult to talk softly at night.<\/p>\n<p>15. You should not sneeze while collecting a urine sample.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"wp-image-1877\" src=\"https:\/\/ultrazaps.com\/terryblogg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/cid02c201caa7c0dollar7157cf60dollar0201a8c0xaviers.jpeg\" alt=\"cid:02c201caa7c0$7157cf60$0201a8c0@xaviers\" \/><\/p>\n<p>16. Enemas do not always work.<\/p>\n<p>17. Kidney stones are not round and smooth.<\/p>\n<p>18. When you are in constant pain you do not have the time to get bored.<\/p>\n<p>19. Even though you may not like to do it, you must drink lots of water every day.<\/p>\n<p>20. Even though you already know it, family and friends care a whole lot for you.<\/p>\n<p>21. Suddenly feeling perfectly well is the most wonderful feeling in the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S.<\/strong>\u00a0 It helps greatly if you have a sense of humour while you are going through it all !!<\/p>\n<p>And the sense of humour helps when you are right on top of the world as well. I am glad I have that in reasonably large measure&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>Looking forward to Monday and the &#8220;back to the grind&#8221; routine of my exciting life!<\/p>\n<p>Take care.
