2.\u00a0 A three-way IV canal embedded in the back of\u00a0any hand<\/p>\n
limits the dexterity and movement of\u00a0that particular hand.<\/p>\n
3.\u00a0 You cannot tie your pyjama string with only one hand.<\/p>\n
4. In toilet manoeuvres\u00a0your right hand cannot efficiently do<\/p>\n
what\u00a0 your left hand has been doing all your life.<\/p>\n

If the position of your heart (e.g. when you are standing) is higher than<\/p>\n the position of the IV bottle then blood flows in reverse from your body into the IV tube.<\/p>\n That is very scary!<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 <\/em> 13. In hospitals, 5.30 am is the most appropriate time to be changing the bed linen.<\/p>\n You are generally woken up from a deep sleep so that this can be done.<\/p>\n 14. Hospital staff find it particularly difficult to talk softly at night.<\/p>\n 15. You should not sneeze while collecting a urine sample.<\/p>\n 16. Enemas do not always work.<\/p>\n 17. Kidney stones are not round and smooth.<\/p>\n 18. When you are in constant pain you do not have the time to get bored.<\/p>\n 19. Even though you may not like to do it, you must drink lots of water every day.<\/p>\n 20. Even though you already know it, family and friends care a whole lot for you.<\/p>\n 21. Suddenly feeling perfectly well is the most wonderful feeling in the world.<\/p>\n P.S.<\/strong>\u00a0 It helps greatly if you have a sense of humour while you are going through it all !!<\/p>\n And the sense of humour helps when you are right on top of the world as well.
