It\u2019s amazing how many people make suggestions about how we can make our own lives better. Counsellor that I am, I can\u2019t resist doing that rather often!<\/p>\n

So here I go again\u2026 <\/p>\n

I have some observations about this\u2026<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0 However much I move out of it, my comfort zone becomes bigger and I am still in it!<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Sometimes when I move out of my comfort zone I move into someone else\u2019s discomfort zone (community life\u2026family life!)<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0 Some people try to move me out of my comfort zone because they are uncomfortable with where I am.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0 One can become more efficient if one stays in one\u2019s comfort zone and works towards becoming better at what one is doing.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0 All human effort is directed at becoming comfortable so why become uncomfortable unnecessarily.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0 There is always the possibility that the rest of the world will adjust to make me comfortable.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0 The only comfort zone one cannot move out of is the tomb.. and all of us die to get there!<\/p>\n

These are just random thoughts. Any time is a good time to think about moving out of one\u2019s comfort zone.<\/p>\n

Not just think but actually move.<\/p>\n

Come to think of it, one must also step out of one\u2019s discomfort zones as well.<\/p>\n

We cling on to so many things that makes us uncomfortable and unhappy: bad relationships, unrealistic dreams, baggage from the past, anger, hatred, unforgiveness and the like.<\/p>\n

Yes, letting go and stepping out of these discomfort zones could add a lot of fresh air and vibrancy to our unnecessarily bogged down lives!<\/p>\n

Relatively quiet times at the counselling centre for me just now. It is a comfortable comfort zone and all is under control and well\u2026<\/p>\n

Busy times will start next month and carry on for a while but I am getting myself ready for that.<\/p>\n

All otherwise well and life goes on blissfully\u2026<\/p>\n

Take care somewhat carelessly! Step out confidently. God is stepping out with you!<\/p>\n
