Of course they are beautiful\u2026 colourful glory\u00a0 globes\u2026 setting sunlight glisteningly bouncing off their taut forms.<\/p>\n
Attractive playthings\u2026rapture enticing, joy inducing\u00a0 flush happiness… but\u00a0\u00a0 totally transient!<\/p>\n
The air will leak out slowly and they will be discarded for some other passing transient joy.<\/p>\n
Life is full of short term playthings.<\/p>\n
Beyond in the distance, vast immense, majestic, restless,\u00a0 powerfully alive, serene calm, turbulent stormy is the sea.<\/p>\n
Distracted by the colourful globes in front of us, we may not notice the sea.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s always been there. Always will be there. We take it for granted and do not notice.<\/p>\n
Some do though. Backs to the fluttering colourful balloons they quietly breathe in the majesty of the sea and the tranquilising rhythmic caress of the waves foam-frothing to calm on the extended peace beaches.<\/p>\n
The balloons are passed by unnoticed. The sea endures.<\/p>\n
Metaphor of life for us\u2026 and choices to be made for transient or eternal.<\/p>\n
Where our treasure is there will our hearts also be.<\/p>\n
And it is better to have treasure that is more enduring and lasts.<\/p>\n
May you set your heart on that kind of treasure always\u2026<\/p>\n
I am dealing as best I can with the prevailing inclement weather and life goes on as I continue making my own choices for what endures.<\/p>\n
You do that too.<\/p>\n
