<\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 photo: terryq<\/strong><\/p>\n His masterpiece on crossbeams framed<\/strong><\/p>\n The Father’s love derided, shamed<\/strong><\/p>\n as mocking human voices chance<\/strong><\/p>\n a challenge: “Come down, dance<\/strong><\/p>\n those miracles and cures for us<\/strong><\/p>\n we’re audience here, don’t make a fuss!”<\/strong><\/p>\n “You said you can from death bring life<\/strong><\/p>\n make resurrection come from strife<\/strong><\/p>\n transform then battered bruised earth<\/strong><\/p>\n grow green and lush\u00a0in place of\u00a0dirt!”<\/strong><\/p>\n He answers not to them. His love<\/strong><\/p>\n a channel\u00a0: earth to God above.<\/strong><\/p>\n “It is consummated! Done!<\/strong><\/p>\n For you my Father, kingdom won!<\/strong><\/p>\n With arms outstretched I now embrace<\/strong><\/p>\n frail fallen man and raise to grace<\/strong><\/p>\n from sinful low to heaven heights<\/strong><\/p>\n from abyss dark to zenith lights.”<\/strong><\/p>\n The thunder voice from heaven again:<\/strong><\/p>\n “Beloved Son, my grace to men<\/strong><\/p>\n will flow flood now through you released<\/strong><\/p>\n All earth attend : I am well pleased!”<\/strong><\/p>\n terryq: Good Friday, 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n And we will continue paying heed and attending even as we struggle and deal with our own Good Fridays.<\/p>\n The good news is that it is not the end.
