We are into the Lenten season already and we may have done our bit to raise our bodies, minds and hearts to God through stipulated Lenten observances and additional expressions of our returning to Him.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s something you might like to reflect on as we move through this celebrative season of conversion to the ecstasy of a resurrecting Easter.<\/p>\n

Once the skies now down to dirt<\/p>\n
From flight to fallen fatal state<\/p>\n
For whim of freedom lost the heights<\/p>\n
Alone discarded doomed to dust<\/p>\n
Unmourned by soaring eagle wings<\/p>\n
It lies untended sorry plight.<\/p>\n
Sin scorns us thus makes naught of grace<\/p>\n
and glory grandeur heaven heights<\/p>\n
Makes writhing wretched wallow state<\/p>\n
Inheritance through wanton ways<\/p>\n
through rubble paths and gutter routes<\/p>\n
to disenchantment final goal.<\/p>\n
But yet like prodigal return<\/p>\n
The sinner has love\u2019s graceful chance<\/p>\n
The Father waits and gentle calls<\/p>\n
To banquet times and pastures new<\/p>\n
\u201cForever will I take you back<\/p>\n
Return to me with all your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is so comforting to know that we are always welcomed back to glory lives with Him.<\/p>\n
The ordinary continues, though, as we make our ways through the daily rough and tumble challenges of everyday life. Giving up and straying away is easy. Even easier and more blessed is carrying on along His ways with His love and under His care.<\/p>\n
