and sunlit patches<\/p>\n

fresh footprints<\/p>\n
patterning<\/p>\n
places we’ve been to<\/p>\n
and criss-crossing<\/p>\n
other memories<\/p>\n
of earlier times<\/p>\n
together.<\/p>\n
It’s always nice<\/p>\n
spending time<\/p>\n
with you.<\/p>\n
We’re older now –<\/p>\n
I, much more than you –<\/p>\n
settled in dreams<\/p>\n
we’ve dreamed<\/p>\n

There’s sunshine too<\/p>\n
and rainbows<\/p>\n
summer showers<\/p>\n
and evening breezes<\/p>\n
every dawn promising new miracles.<\/p>\n
God keeps blessing me<\/p>\n
with beautiful people<\/p>\n
I can share my beach with<\/p>\n
And I learn about<\/p>\n
other beaches and skies.<\/p>\n
Life is never<\/p>\n
lived alone _<\/p>\n
Pain and joy<\/p>\n
borne and celebrated<\/p>\n
with those we love.<\/p>\n
And each of us<\/p>\n
more enriched and grown<\/p>\n
because of this.<\/p>\n
I’m glad I walked<\/p>\n
into the \u201cwoods\u201d long ago<\/p>\n
