the trees remember<\/p>\n

palm and coconut<\/p>\n

lining the beach at night..<\/p>\n

their wind-borne whispers<\/p>\n

reach out comforting<\/p>\n

on the inner edge of night.<\/p>\n

They cared –<\/p>\n

as did the sands<\/p>\n

and the early monsoon seas.<\/p>\n

The rain rush play-danced with you<\/p>\n

In the phosphorescent<\/p>\n

glow of night you shared<\/p>\n

with the swaying palms<\/p>\n

their elusive peace<\/p>\n

as you rested content<\/p>\n

on a friendly lap…<\/p>\n

Life’s gifts \u2013 these interludes<\/p>\n

when storm clouds yield<\/p>\n

to skies of blue<\/p>\n

and unruffled seas.<\/p>\n

It is good then<\/p>\n

to be with friends<\/p>\n

and share with them<\/p>\n

the give and take<\/p>\n

of love and care<\/p>\n

that make our lives<\/p>\n

so blessed.<\/p>\n

I am glad<\/p>\n

I was there with you…….<\/p>\n
