I know I have sent you an original terry-Christmas-mail already but a season like this continues being inspiring….
So here’s another one…..
The infant in the visual is Myles, a grand-nephew of mine. His posture and position seem appropriate for the concerned times we live in. Much like the Christ child, I suppose!

beyond the dark beams dazzle quiet
as silhouette surrenders slow
afar in distanced haze is seen
an iridescent glory glow
foreground shadows mark space and time
of gifted light long lost and grace
abandoned as usurping hands
greed clawing grab at guttered waste
“’tis wealth!” they claim as wars are waged
injustice heaped and lords enslaved
to bondaged hate devouring man
unbalanced deep by sin engraved
all now is lost, all lost and yet
catastrophe stayed still by plan
divine redemption will be wrought
by Son of God in form of man
so gentle heaven’s child new born
his peace gift brings to turbulence
and in the hush of Christmas morn
is re-created – innocence!

blessings of the season
on all of you !!
As you know I have been under the weather for the past fortnight. A cold with a severe rasping cough that tears me up inside. I have been through voiceless/crackle mode in-between and subjected to a wide variety of remedies suggested by everyone who meets me ( hot haldi-doodh, honey with pepper/brandy, “jesthimadh”, betadine, glycodin, Dr.Smyle gargle-gulp, deep breathing…. and a long list of others with the usual hot-salt-water gargle etc.etc.) I have been taking most of these whether as a result of them or otherwise, I am feeling better now… though not completely. Hopefully I will breathe easier in the new year!
Lots of family things happening and I am looking forward to catching up with them. And looking forward to the rest/break I will be getting this week too.
Classes resume on Jan.3rd… in another year 2011!
And yes, I went out shopping for my new diary. It takes quite a hunt to get the absolutely appropriate one for my needs…. and I quite enjoy the shopping around for it. But on the way I got a brainwave and decided to design and make my own! I have done that too…with Kevin’s help… and I am very happy with the results!
