ENCOUNTERS 14 . 11 . 78
encounters of another kind
it’s dark, i dream
the shatter stillness of the night
the quiet midnight scream
the whisper voices pass me by
they tell me i am blind
i see, i swear i see
they drift before my eyes i see
the shapeless forms
my eyes, i note their come and go
the formless unremembered
but then, it’s night,
i swear it’s night
why then these unveiled pity voices
guiding hands in all control
they lead me on
and tell mei am blind
this light
what then this light
i see before my eyes
ten thousand suns can never be as bright
and yet it’s night
i swear it’s night
then why this burning blazing light
it’s gone. They’ve taken it away
the clouds have come
and i am left horror alone
inside this blinding night
it’s night
my god! I swear it’s night
